Fluvial Erosion Hazard Assessment & River Corridor Management Plan for the South River Watershed, Ashfield and Conway

Flooding is the most common natural hazard in Massachusetts and results in millions of dollars of damage to roads, bridges, homes and businesses, agricultural lands and aquatic resources. Flood damages occur due to rising rivers that cover land with water and fluvial (river-related) erosion.
